Maintaining a Personal Approach to Financial Planning Has Always Been in Our Nature


Blending strategy with authenticity is our specialty. With years of experience in finance, offering advanced solutions (including our distribution strategy) comes naturally — but exceptional support is only possible when founded on a close and trusting relationship. 

Our firm thrives on such collaboration. Tim Mardin opened the firm in 2002, and Bob Kintz eventually joined to work alongside Tim. In 2018, Katie (Tim’s daughter) joined the firm as part of the succession plan for the next generation of planning. In 2023, Anthony Zanetti joined as a partner to further enhance our advisor team and help lead the firm into the future. Since the founding, the entire Mardin Capital Group team has continued to foster a close-knit atmosphere, working together to support one another. We extend this same family approach to each and every one of our clients.

Over the years, we’ve expanded to serve a diverse group of individuals and families, providing dynamic guidance through our many cherished, long-lasting relationships.

I like to bring a hands-on approach to financial planning, working closely with clients to help them attain their financial goals and life aspirations. I enjoy meeting with people to answer their financial questions, address their concerns and help them reach intelligent decisions around complex situations. Helping clients achieve greater financial literacy and reach lasting confidence is especially important to me.

For my ongoing education, I typically attend multiple financial planning/investment management conferences per year. I also work with an industry coach, a leading industry consultant, and through an LPL study group, I maintain close relationships with top financial advisors across the country.

Prior to joining LPL in 2002, my background includes diverse roles in banking (with the FDIC) and insurance (Unum and LibertyMutual).

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my wife and best friend, Cheryl, our 4 children and our growing number of grandchildren. I enjoy traveling, golfing, hiking and while my running days have passed, I especially enjoy travelling with my daughter Katie, as she continues her quest to complete the world’s major marathons.

I have spent the past 15 years in the financial services industry which provided me the opportunity to meet hundreds of financial advisors across the country. These interactions helped shape my approach as an advisor. I enjoy collaborating as a team to provide exceptional service while organizing and simplifying our clients’ financial lives. Building lasting client relationships across generations is the most energizing part of my job.

Prior to joining LPL, I most recently was at Ameriprise building my own wealth management practice while serving as the branch manager for two large offices in New Hampshire. In addition, I spent over six years in Texas working for Boston-based Eaton Vance. There I worked alongside financial advisors and their clients, helping to guide them as they constructed comprehensive, individualized portfolios, including tax-efficient investing and managing concentrated stock positions. It is now incredibly rewarding to be able to use this knowledge as I help our clients reach their own goals.

Outside of work you can find me, my wife Lauren, and our two young children, Bruno and Josephine, at a local playground or beach. In my free time not filled by diapers and dump trucks, I enjoy my health and fitness activities, pickleball and playoff hockey.

I bring over two decades of experience to my role as a financial consultant. I am passionate about helping our clients reach financial independence and take great care to attend to each client and walk them through every available option for their wealth. In addition to creating personalized financial plans for clients, my expertise lies in investment management, including security selection, portfolio construction, rebalancing and distribution modeling. 

With a breadth of experience, I help clients work toward securing their financial health. Previously, I worked at Raytheon Company Corporate Finance for 12 years and Liberty Mutual as Finance and Operations Manager for 12 years as well.

Outside of work, you can find me regularly testing my limits by pursuing physically and mentally challenging endurance sports, including Ironmans, marathons and ultra runs. I completed the World Marathon Majors and am now working through the Seven Continents. With the best of intentions, I subliminally encourage my two sons and grandson to follow a similar path of vigorous sports.

I love being able to get to know each individual client and their family and work with them to understand their unique situation and goals in order to create customized financial plans that will be tailored exclusively to them. I find it incredibly rewarding to help people of all ages to understand their current situations and to pursue their financial goals.


Prior to joining LPL, I spent almost ten years working in IT Security and Compliance at Liberty Mutual. 

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ryan, and our two young children, Everett and Rosalie. I also love to travel and stay active — I am an avid marathon runner and have so far completed four of the six World Marathon Majors. My goal is to travel to as many countries as possible and to expose my children to all different kinds of cultures and ways of life.

A people-oriented individual, I see great value in maintaining a positive outlook. Through diligent organization and follow-up, I strive to provide spirited support to my team and the firm’s clients. I view excellent communication and relationships as integral parts of a thriving life — and I work to nourish both at Mardin Capital Group. 

I tend to the many moving pieces of the firm, including internal team logistics and all client needs. When visiting or contacting the office, I’m happy to answer your every question. I bring dynamic experience to my role, having served in management and operations positions at various companies and organizations, including sports touring companies, AXIS Construction Management and the Ohio State University’s Cancer Research Center. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and extended family. I love traveling and being in the great outdoors, particularly on the water. I also enjoy Christian education, theatre, sports — and not cooking!

As the newest member of the team, I am excited to bring my variety of data science skills to an already dynamic team. I enjoy taking on technical and data-based projects that I know will help enhance our clients’ experiences with us. I love engaging with people and working with them to solve problems and find personalized solutions. Meeting with clients and establishing what we can do to better serve them is especially important to me. 

I have always enjoyed working with people, and have had the opportunity to work in some very rewarding customer driven roles. For 5 years I worked as an office manager at a kayaking outfitter and campground in Stonington, ME. While attending graduate school I worked as a front desk coordinator and then human resources representative for Compunnel Software before joining Mardin Capital Group. 

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing ultimate frisbee, and hiking.

As someone who has worked in customer driven roles for the past nine years, I truly enjoy helping people and providing friendly and personable service. Before joining Mardin Capital Group, I worked as a Bookkeeper and Office Administrator for an outboard and hand-held power equipment dealer on the coast of Maine. In my time there I valued the opportunity to assist customers with their needs and build lasting relationships. I am excited to do the same at Mardin Capital Group.

When I am not working, I can usually be found in the kitchen, baking and decorating cakes for birthdays, weddings, and other special occasions. I also love spending time with my friends and family, and spoiling my five nieces and nephews.
